DESIGN GUIDE
Plan your design
Planning and purpose
Packaging needs to explain the product and connect every variant to the same brand. Start with the container or pouch format and the printer’s exact template. Decide how customers will distinguish flavour, size or product type. Keep the front focused on recognition while planning enough room for the approved product information elsewhere.
Design and readability
Use a consistent hierarchy across the range, then distinguish variants with names, imagery and colour. Check information near folds and seals on the supplier’s template. A decorative background should not make small product text or the barcode difficult to read.
Review the design at the size people will actually see it. Check names, numbers and spelling in every language, and leave enough space around important information. Ask for changes on the same proof so the final version reflects one agreed set of corrections.
Sharing and print preparation
Ask the supplier to check the final artwork against the current dieline and printing process. Review each flavour or size separately, including variable areas. A three-dimensional mockup is a presentation aid; approve the actual flat production artwork as well.
Decide the final use before approving artwork. Digital sharing, a printed piece and a production file can need different exports. For printing, confirm dimensions, bleed, paper or material and finishing with the printer before the final file is prepared. Keep the approved version separate from earlier proofs.
Common questions
Can several flavours share one design system?
Yes. Share the complete variant list at the start. A shared brand layout can keep the range consistent while variant names, colours and imagery make each product easy to identify.
Who provides the product information?
The business supplies and approves the final product and label text. Send the complete version before layout approval; changing long information later can affect spacing and the whole pack composition.
How do I request a personalised design?
Use the Contact us button and send your preferred gallery reference, approved content, language, size and deadline. The gallery helps explain your style preference. TG Graphics will discuss a personalised version and the files needed for your project.
How are price and delivery time decided?
Share the number of designs or pages, required formats, available artwork and deadline. Design scope, revisions, file preparation and printing requirements affect the work involved. Price and schedule are agreed for your project before work proceeds.
