Plan your design
Planning and purpose
A shop sign must identify the business from the place customers approach it. Share a photograph of the installation area and explain the usual viewing distance. The width of the frontage, surrounding signs and whether the sign is lit affect the layout. Decide which information needs to be noticed first rather than treating the sign like a large visiting card.
Design and readability
Prioritise the business name and strong contrast. Review the layout at a reduced scale to judge what reads from a distance. Decorative detail, several phone numbers and long service lists can compete with the name; keep only the information that helps a passing customer.
Review the design at the size people will actually see it. Check names, numbers and spelling in every language, and leave enough space around important information. Ask for changes on the same proof so the final version reflects one agreed set of corrections.
Sharing and print preparation
Confirm the fabricator’s required file format and dimensions. Check lettering, mounting areas and any lighting effects on the production proof. A mockup illustrates the look, but the installation and material decisions need agreement with the fabricator.
Decide the final use before approving artwork. Digital sharing, a printed piece and a production file can need different exports. For printing, confirm dimensions, bleed, paper or material and finishing with the printer before the final file is prepared. Keep the approved version separate from earlier proofs.
Common questions
Can the sign use Gujarati and English names?
Yes. Send both approved spellings and decide which language should be prominent. The available space and viewing distance should guide the size and arrangement of the two name treatments.
Does the gallery mockup specify the sign material?
The mockup shows a visual presentation. Share the actual material, lighting and fabrication method proposed for your sign so the production artwork can be prepared for that choice.
How do I request a personalised design?

How are price and delivery time decided?
Share the number of designs or pages, required formats, available artwork and deadline. Design scope, revisions, file preparation and printing requirements affect the work involved. Price and schedule are agreed for your project before work proceeds.
