DESIGN GUIDE
Plan your design
Planning and purpose
Family and festival invitations help guests understand the kind of gathering they are joining. An anniversary, Sneh Milan, community meal, Garba evening, Diwali gathering or Holi celebration needs its own wording and arrangements. Confirm the hosts, intended guests and programme instead of copying a greeting post as an invitation. Give the date, arrival time and venue clearly, and mention meals, participation or practical instructions only when they are confirmed. A related festival social post is a separate design format. The gallery uses fictional sample details so you can discuss a style before supplying your real information.
Design and readability
Match the mood to the occasion while preserving a clear invitation hierarchy. A celebratory anniversary card may be more personal than a community meal notice. Garba or Holi imagery should leave room for arrival, venue and participation details. If photographs are used, confirm permission and choose images that remain sharp at the intended sharing or print size.
Review the design at the size people will actually see it. Check names, numbers and spelling in every language, and leave enough space around important information. Ask for changes on the same proof so the final version reflects one agreed set of corrections.
Sharing and print preparation
Decide whether the invitation is for a private family group or wider circulation before placing personal details on it. Keep the confirmed programme consistent across shared images and printed copies. Provide any response deadline in the accompanying message as well, and send a clearly labelled update if the venue or gathering time changes.
Decide the final use before approving artwork. Digital sharing, a printed piece and a production file can need different exports. For printing, confirm dimensions, bleed, paper or material and finishing with the printer before the final file is prepared. Keep the approved version separate from earlier proofs.
Common questions
How is a festival invitation different from a greeting post?
An invitation asks guests to attend a specific gathering and needs hosts, date, time and venue. A greeting post usually shares a message without attendance details. Request both formats explicitly if your celebration needs them.
Can one card cover a meal and celebration?
Yes, when the same guests are invited to both. Show each timing clearly and explain whether the gathering is seated, open attendance or organised in sessions. Separate invitations may be clearer when the guest lists differ.
How do I request a personalised design?
Use the Contact us button and send your preferred gallery reference, approved content, language, size and deadline. The gallery helps explain your style preference. TG Graphics will discuss a personalised version and the files needed for your project.
How are price and delivery time decided?
Share the number of designs or pages, required formats, available artwork and deadline. Design scope, revisions, file preparation and printing requirements affect the work involved. Price and schedule are agreed for your project before work proceeds.
