DESIGN GUIDE

Plan your design

Planning and purpose

An opening invitation introduces your business and tells guests when and where to join the celebration. A shop opening, office inauguration, Dukaan Muhurat or corporate gathering may have different audiences and programmes. Confirm the final business name, hosts and purpose before choosing a sample. State whether the invitation covers a ceremony, a general visiting period or a timed gathering, and separate customer information from private guest instructions. Avoid announcing unconfirmed offers or opening hours. The samples are fictional starting points; replace their names, contacts and location details with your approved business information.

Design and readability

Use the supplied business logo and colours consistently so the invitation feels connected to your other materials. Make the opening occasion and address readable before adding product photographs or decorative elements. Keep telephone numbers and website links distinct from the main heading, and give a chief guest or ceremony programme its own clearly labelled block.

Review the design at the size people will actually see it. Check names, numbers and spelling in every language, and leave enough space around important information. Ask for changes on the same proof so the final version reflects one agreed set of corrections.

Sharing and print preparation

Plan separate exports for direct invitations, social announcements and printed cards if their sizes differ. A public announcement should include only the contact and access information intended for customers. Verify the venue map and final opening date before sharing, and request matching sign or social artwork separately when it is part of your project.

Decide the final use before approving artwork. Digital sharing, a printed piece and a production file can need different exports. For printing, confirm dimensions, bleed, paper or material and finishing with the printer before the final file is prepared. Keep the approved version separate from earlier proofs.

Common questions

Is Dukaan Muhurat the same as a public shop opening?

They may be part of the same day, but the hosts should confirm their meaning and guest arrangements. State the ceremony time and public visiting time separately when they differ, rather than assuming everyone is invited to both.

Can the invitation match our existing branding?

Yes. Supply your approved logo, brand colours and any existing business material as references. Confirm which names and contact details are current, and ask for separate exports if the artwork will also be used as a social post.

How do I request a personalised design?

Use the Contact us button and send your preferred gallery reference, approved content, language, size and deadline. The gallery helps explain your style preference. TG Graphics will discuss a personalised version and the files needed for your project.

How are price and delivery time decided?

Share the number of designs or pages, required formats, available artwork and deadline. Design scope, revisions, file preparation and printing requirements affect the work involved. Price and schedule are agreed for your project before work proceeds.
