Planning and purpose
Baby and childhood invitations cover different family occasions: a baby shower, Chhathi, naming ceremony, Mundan, Janoi or birthday. Choose the actual event first, then use wording agreed by the family. The gallery cards are samples with fictional details. A warm style should make the gathering clear without suggesting ceremonies or activities that the hosts have not planned.
Design and readability
Use playful colour or gentle decoration while keeping the child’s name and practical information easy to find. A photo is optional and should be approved by the parents. Publish only the family details needed by invited guests; a decorative card does not need a child’s complete birth information.
Review the design at the size people will actually see it. Check names, numbers and spelling in every language, and leave enough space around important information. Ask for changes on the same proof so the final version reflects one agreed set of corrections.
Sharing and print preparation
Check the occasion title and programme with a family member before sharing. Replace all fictional sample details with the confirmed information for your gathering. Send the final image with the venue link and any practical arrival instructions in the accompanying message.
Decide the final use before approving artwork. Digital sharing, a printed piece and a production file can need different exports. For printing, confirm dimensions, bleed, paper or material and finishing with the printer before the final file is prepared. Keep the approved version separate from earlier proofs.

Are the baby gallery cards personalised templates?
They are preview samples with fictional names, dates and venues. Use them to explain your preferred style, then send approved family details to discuss a personalised invitation for the correct occasion.
Can we keep the child’s name for the ceremony?
