Use PNG for sharing an image

PNG is an image file that you can preview and share through apps that accept images. In the TG Graphics studio, a square festival PNG is 1080 × 1080 pixels and a story PNG is 1080 × 1920 pixels. Download the original file rather than taking a screenshot of the preview. Check the receiving app’s preview because it may crop or resize your image.

Know what the studio PDF contains

The studio PDF keeps the design on a page with a defined physical size. Festival pages are 108 × 108 mm or 108 × 192 mm. The design is embedded as a flattened RGB image: the text is not separately editable and the PDF is not a layered source file. Both PNG and PDF downloads include the TG Graphics credit.

Ask your printer about production requirements

A PDF extension alone does not mean a file is ready for every printing process. Ask your printer about final size, colour profile, bleed and crop marks. Bleed extends artwork beyond the trim edge; crop marks help identify where to trim. Different print workflows may request RGB, CMYK or a specific PDF standard. Confirm the requirements instead of converting colours at random.

Use the right route for the final job

The free studio PDF is intended for sharing and basic printing. It does not include bleed or crop marks. For production-ready cards, invitations or packaging, share the printer’s specifications with TG Graphics so the artwork can be prepared for that job. Before approving any print, check names, phone numbers, image sharpness and a proof at the intended size.
